Position Overview:
The Volunteer Recruiter Manager will play a critical role in building and expanding the volunteer base for Precious Pairs. This person will lead the recruitment efforts by developing outreach strategies, establishing connections with potential volunteers, and managing the onboarding process. The Volunteer Recruiter Manager will collaborate with various program leaders to ensure we have the right volunteers for each initiative and will help maintain an engaged and motivated volunteer community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and retain volunteers for various programs within Precious Pairs.
  • Outreach and Networking: Build partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and social platforms to identify and connect with potential volunteers.
  • Screening and Onboarding: Oversee the screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new volunteers to ensure they align with the organization's values and needs.
  • Collaboration with Program Leaders: Work closely with program leaders to understand specific volunteer needs and ensure volunteers are matched with the right opportunities.
  • Volunteer Retention: Create initiatives to retain and recognize volunteers, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated throughout their time with Precious Pairs.
  • Data Management: Maintain an organized volunteer database to track recruitment progress, volunteer participation, and other key metrics.
  • Training Coordination: Assist in coordinating volunteer training sessions and ensuring all volunteers are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Provide regular reports to the leadership team on recruitment efforts, challenges, and successes, along with suggestions for improvement.
