Central YMCA is a non-profit located in the heart of San Jose on The Alameda. Focused on improving the quality of life for all, we are driven by our committment to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We offer gym and swim programs, before and after school child care, chronic disease prevention programs, and so much more, serving thousands of people of all walks of life each year. Together with our executive director and the staff team, our volunteer Board members help to set the vision for our Y, enable our vision, and fund our vision. Critical to the success of our Y, Board members give of their time to ensure Central YMCA is best positioned to meet the needs of our community today and for generations to come. If you're looking for a meaningful way to contribute to positive community impact and be engaged at a high level with one of San Jose's leading non-profits, this is a great opportunity for you.
