Project Transitions is looking for consistent volunteers to sort and distribute food to residents at our supportive housing complex, located in North Central Austin.
Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Friday, residents come to our pantry to "shop" for their food. We need volunteers to help keep things organized and make sure those in our care can get the food they need.
This is an ongoing project, so someone who can commit to regular volunteerism is preferred. This is the perfect opportunity for a college student or retiree who has their Fridays open!
Hours: From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Length: About 2 hours
Date: Every Friday
Location: Confidential address (located in Brentwood neighborhood)
Requirements
- Willingness to commit to an ongoing project
- Signed confidentiality policy
- Comfortable clothing
- A positive attitude
Please reach out to Caitlan at cosborn@projecttransitions.org if you'd like to help us with this project!
