St. Michael's Truth Lutheran Church is looking for a volunteer math tutor at its Temple Hills site. There is a small stipend available. Tutoring will be done through art, games, physical activities and provided to elementary age students. Must be familiar with the use of math manipulatives and be able to plan the sessions. Two days a month for one hour. Start date January. Days and time to be determined by tutors.

Description

A local church in Prince George's County that works in community outreach. We host a food bank and hand out clothing and food as donations. We also bag lunches for the emergency homeless shelter, rent out a community garden, and host an African Cultural Class that includes drumming and dancing with participants.
