Volunteer Opportunity - Be the difference in the life of a child! Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County provide volunteer advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are under the legal protection of the court system. Volunteers visit with the child regularly and submit a monthly report so judges can see the full picture of the child and make the best decisions about their future. YOU can make a difference! For more information, please contact Brittany Koenig at (920) 393-9771, brittany@casabc.org or casabc.org/volunteer.

Mission Statement
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system.
Description
Every year more than half a million children who have experienced abuse or neglect are in need of safe, permanent homes. That's where CASA steps in. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) was created in 1977 to make sure the abuse and neglect these children originally suffered at home doesn't continue as abuse and neglect at the hands of the system. As trained advocates, CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for these children in court. The result is that a child is placed into a safe home where he/she can thrive. It is the CASA vision to provide a volunteer for each and every child who has experienced abuse or neglect.
