Help show your love of our community garden by helping to continue to beautify the community areas.
Why: In 2024 we started a new community area to host volunteers, workshops and events. With your efforts, we hope this new space will bring a new wave of gardeners to learn and share their knowledge with each other.
Who: Granada Hills Salad Bowl Garden Club is working to encourange individuals in the community to develope self-sufficiency and healthy living through a community garden and educating them about gardening skills.
What to Expect: Durinig Community Volunteer Day, come to volunteer in the new community plot(s) to help with various outdoor tasks such as: weeding, mulching, shoveling, repairing, amending the soil, removing grass, harvesting, planting and seed saving.
What's Required:
18 years or older.
Outdoor volunteer event, please bring a sun hat and wear closed toed shoes
Tools will be provided at the event.
Bring your own water and garden gloves.
No Dogs allowed.

Looking for volunteers to help with gardening and planting vegetables each new season at our new community plot(s) Other projects may include composting, fruit harvest, weeding, mulching, digging, painting, helping senior, setting up drip lines, preparing plots for new gardeners, small building projects and arts & crafts.
