Help Plan Buffalo Audubon at Beaver Meadow's NEW Spring Event
We are currently recruiting committee members to help with our new Spring Fest at Beaver Meadow fundraising event! The committee is responsible for planning and executing a successful event through volunteerism and community engagement.
Spring Fest at Beaver Meadow is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th and will include hourly themed hikes, live music, ambassador animal presentations, raffles, refreshments, children's activities, a fairy house competiton for our Fairy House Lane Trail, and more!
Committee member expectations include:
- Attending monthly meetings, December - June (both by Zoom and in-person)
- Serving as a point person for one activity (logistics, raffles, refreshments, sponsorship, ticket sales, promotion, volunteers)
- Attending and helping day-of
- Post-event evaluation

Description
Buffalo Audubon Society was established in 1909 by local conservationists and is a chapter affiliate of the National Audubon Society. We are dedicated to the promotion, enjoyment, and protection of the natural world through education, nature experiences, advocacy and community conservation.
Our staff and headquarters are located at our beautiful Beaver Meadow Nature Preserve in North Java. We connect people to the natural world through immersive nature experiences, education programs, advocacy, and habitat protection. We manage seven nature preserves (1,000+ acres), and offer a newly-renovated nature center, independent and guided hiking and birding, nature education for people of all ages, a summer nature camp, and more.
