Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) is a non-profit affordable housing developer. We depend on donations to support Resident Services programs such as year-round education programs for students in grades K-12, food distributions and more.

AHC is looking for detail-oriented volunteers to help with the year-end fundraising appeal. Volunteers will help customize letters and prepare the letters for mailing. Volunteers will need to be careful and detail oriented.

Three to five volunteers needed on November 5, 6 and 7 from 2-4pm.

Email volunteer@ahcinc.org for more information.

Mission Statement

AHC’s purpose is to produce, preserve, manage, advocate for and finance affordable rental and owner-occupied housing. AHC offers educational services to strengthen our residents’ economic and social stability.

Description

Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) is among the largest developers of affordable and mixed-income housing in the Washington-Baltimore metro region. AHC has developed nearly 7,000 quality affordable homes to help families and individuals build stable lives and strong futures. We provide homes for more than 18,000 people.

AHC’s Resident Services program supports thousands of children, families and senior citizens through on-site programs.
