Program Overview:

Join East Side Learning Center’s early literacy program to support preschoolers (ages 3-5). Help them build essential literacy skills through fun activities like reading, singing, and learning alphabet letters.

What you'll do:

  • Focus on engaging preschoolers in activities such as alphabet songs, storytime, and sensory writing.
  • Help children develop early literacy foundations that will prepare them for kindergarten.
  • Work directly with preschoolers to strengthen their language and communication skills.

Description

East Side Learning Center (ESLC) is a nonprofit organization based out of St. Paul, MN since 2001. We are an educational partnership with the School Sisters of Notre Dame and a proud host of AARP Foundation Experience Corps. ESLC provides reading tutoring services to low income Kindergarten through 3rd grade students who are not yet reading at grade level. Join us as a volunteer for the upcoming school and help us to make a difference in the lives of St. Paul's most vulnerable children!
