Help is needed with the upcoming yard sale with set-up on October 16th and 17th, at the yard sale on October 18th and 19th, and clean-up on October 19th, at Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church ( www.mcbic.org). We need the most help with set-up and clean-up. So, if you can only give a few hours please consider helping during those times.
Help is also needed on Sunday October 13th at the Operation Wildcat warehouse between 1-4 PM. We are getting ready for the sale and are loading up the OW truck, as well as finishing up organizing skids. If you are available to help please text or email Maureen at 717-773-1988, mmross4@comcast.net

While no help will be turned away no matter how late the hour, your early sign-up gives us a better idea where and when we have gaps in the schedule. This is a great opportunity if you/your child are in need of service hours!

Mission Statement
The purpose of Operation Wildcat is to pool the resources of the community to help Mechanicsburg Area School District school district students, families and staff in need.
Description
In the spring of 2006, the Mechanicsburg Area School District PTOs and Parent Advisory Committee members began Operation Wildcat to help local students and families in need. District administration has provided a storage site for Operation Wildcat at Mechanicsburg Middle School. With the support of the school board, district administration and staff, Operation Wildcat is an all volunteer organization, and have 16 projects to fulfill the needs of families, students and staff: Back to School, Boo, Books, Clothes, Enrichment, Furniture, Gift Box, Glam, Legacy, Pennies for Pies, Smile, Spring for Socks, Tannenbaum, Thanksgiving, and Yard Sale N More (our only fundraiser). OW is here to help so that every student can come to school and focus on learning. We welcome donations of items, money, and of course time.
