Saturday October 19th we will be doing two events one in the morning at petsmart. Which we will absolutely take volunteers for but our main one is for the one in the evening starting at 6:00 p.m. we will be at Hops and Hounds downtown doing a adoption event with our dogs. They will need someone to walk with them show them off and provide info if needed. We will also have puppies there that will just need to kind of be held loved or cleaned up after if needed. We also would need people to help with setting up for the event getting the crates out and shutting down. At both PetSmart and Hops and hounds.

Mission Statement
Pause for Paws Inc. is a no-kill, all volunteer, foster-based 501(C)(3) non-profit, organization in San Antonio, TX. We are a stray/street dog rescue, primarily taking in dogs directly from the streets in the San Antonio area and from people in the community who have picked up strays. We rescue, treat, rehabilitate, vaccinate, spay/neuter, and microchip all of our animals. We provide foster care in a loving environment while we match the animals with their forever homes. All furbabies stay in our homes till they find their forever home. We do events at a variety of locations to get them seen and provide a good time.
Description
Many dogs we rescue off the street need some form of special veterinary care or assistance before they are available for adoption. This is our place to share those pups that are on the road to recovery and are not quite ready for adoption! We treat dogs suffering from heartworm, flea and tick related diseases, mange, and more, to those who require intensive emergency care, surgeries, and long recovery. Once our dogs are safely up to snuff we place them up for adoption. We go to petsmart and various other locations go have them seen. Recently we gave started going to chicken n pickle and hops ans hounds to provide more to our fosters and volunteers. Our goal is to save as many puppies from being euthanized and find homes for them.
