YOUR ACTIVITY: LAFH needs you to sing for our participants!
LAFH needs you to sing for our participants! Winter Wonderland is a cherished tradition LA Family Housing hosts annually to bring joy to families. During the celebration, kids can choose a new toy and engage in fun activities to ring in the holidays and enjoy a gathering with their families and others in their community.
Join us in spreading holiday cheer at this event! We are looking for enthusiastic carolers to help us spread the holiday spirit by traveling around the event, singing holiday classics to families around the different activities at the event, and while they wait in line. Your voice can make a difference in creating magical memories for everyone!
*we do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sing within a group.
- Must come dressed up as an elf.
- Must be able to commit to the whole duration.

Mission Statement
L.A. Family Housing (LAFH) works to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services. Founded in 1983, LAFH served more than 2,500 people living in poverty this past year through its multiple housing and supportive service programs, and has served over 100,000 people since its inception. In total LAFH owns and operates 21 properties, including three homeless shelters and 18 permanent rental properties. LAFH provides temporary housing, including the Sydney Irmas Transitional Living Center, for families who require additional time for achieving sufficient independence to secure permanent housing. These transitional living programs offer: * Six Months to Two Years of Transitional Housing * Food Services * Case Management * Mandatory Savings Program * Full Range of On-Site Supportive Services
