Girl Scout Cookie Pick-up is a two-day event where Girl Scout volunteers from our eight-county area come to pick up their first big order of cookies to deliver to their customers and host cookie booths. Four drive-through lanes with five stations per lane will be created out of pallets of cookies. Troops will drive their cars, trucks, trailers, and more through the lanes to pick up a preselected amount of cookies.

  • Friday, January 24, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, at the Matthews Sportsplex, 2425 Sports Pkwy, Matthews, Charlotte, NC 28105
  • Saturday, January 25, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, at Hilldrup Moving, 1325 Carrier Dr., Charlotte, NC 28216

Volunteers will be needed to check troops in, count cookie orders, load cookies into the vehicles, check out troops, and help troops who may want to recount their orders.

This event is held outside in parking lots, no matter the weather. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and breaks will be taken as needed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Beverly Nazloo at cookies@hngirlscouts.org.

Mission Statement

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Description

When people think about Girl Scouts, they think crafts, cookies, and camp but a lot has changed in 103 years. Here at the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council our girls get their hands dirty with bugs and bones, put their minds to work on science and engineering projects, challenge their body and minds with challenge courses and 5k’s, help breast cancer patients survive their toughest moments, and build lasting relationships with fellow Girl Scouts. We serve extraordinary girls in Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Rowan, Stanly, Union and York counties and we are always in need of extraordinary adults to help our girls reach their full potential. Are you up for it?
