Position Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of all Global Birthday Project programs. This role involves coordinating events, managing volunteers, and ensuring that programs run smoothly and meet the organization’s mission. The Program Manager will collaborate closely with other team members to bring innovative ideas to life, maintain high-quality programming, and build lasting relationships with community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Development and Management

    • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all programs, ensuring that they align with the mission and goals of the Global Birthday Project.
    • Develop detailed program plans, timelines, and strategies to expand reach and impact.
    • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, making data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness.
  2. Volunteer Coordination

    • Supervise and coordinate the efforts of program volunteers, ensuring they are trained, supported, and engaged.
    • Develop volunteer schedules, assign responsibilities, and provide ongoing guidance and feedback.
  3. Community and Partner Engagement

    • Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and other partners to expand program reach and collaboration opportunities.
    • Represent the Global Birthday Project in meetings and community events to promote awareness and support for the initiative.
  4. Budget and Resource Management

    • Assist in developing program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure that programs are carried out within budgetary constraints.
    • Identify and allocate resources needed for program success, including materials, volunteer time, and external support.
  5. Communication and Reporting

    • Provide regular updates and reports on program status, outcomes, and challenges to the leadership team.
    • Develop program materials, presentations, and content to promote programs internally and externally.
  6. Innovation and Improvement

    • Continuously seek ways to improve existing programs and implement new initiatives that align with the Global Birthday Project’s mission.
    • Use feedback from participants, volunteers, and partners to refine and enhance programs.
