A 55-year-old woman with ALS and her spouse would appreciate a volunteer to help them around the house with a variety of things: cleaning/organizing, chores, yard work, and/or writing letters. (Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in any of these things: you would not need to do them all!) They are open to scheduling on an "as-needed" basis (no set frequency): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings work best with their schedule. They would ideally like a volunteer who is able to come by for about 2 hours at a time: for those with allergies, they are cat owners.
If this fits your interests and schedule, we'd love to hear from you! This opportunity is part of the ALS Association's Family Assistance Program:
