ORGANIZATION: MINIS WITH A MISSION INC

Seeking volunteers, with or without equine experience. Minis With A Mission will help to guide you and train you on how to safely interact with the mini horses and donkeys. We start with bonding efforts, like grooming, haltering and going for short walks. This helps to teach the volunteer how the animals think, react and respond. This bonding time helps the volunteer to grow their comfort level and bond with the equines. We focus on safety at all times, ensuring a fun, uplifting and positive experience for all hands, hearts and hooves.

We are also looking for volunteers who can help with marketing, social media, general administrative support, farm work and volunteers who can help with our busy schedule of events. Event support involves grooming/animal prep out of their home barns in either Ipswich, MA or Newbury, MA. Then moves to travel with the animals to the event site. Each event is unique, but we need animal handlers, safety watch and those who can embrace the MWAM mission statement and help to advertise our cause to the event attendees.
