Administrative Support

Program Overview:

The Salvation Army Wright County Social Service Office is seeking dedicated volunteers for Administrative Support. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience while supporting our mission to meet human needs.

Description of Position:

As a volunteer for this role, you will provide administrative support to the Twin Cities Social Service Case Manager.

Specific Duties:

  • Perform administrative support tasks such as answering phones, filing, keeping community resource book up to date, supporting POH families.

Qualifications Sought:

  • Friendly, patient, and willing to help as needs arise

Schedule : Flexible shifts between M-F from 8:00 am-4:00 pm

Length of Commitment : 1-3 shifts per week as available.

Description

The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
