Recruiting Organization: Focus: HOPE

Description:

• Light the World Giving Machines will be at Campus Martius in Detroit this holiday season to give community members the opportunity to give to others!
• Giving Machines are red vending machines that allow people to donate to charities by purchasing items for those in need.
• Volunteers will welcome visitors, explain how to use the machines, and offer help to those who need it.
• Must be 18+ years old

Shifts:

• November 14th - December 8th
• Various shift dates and times

Required Virtual Training Session:

• One virtual training session is required for this opportunity.
• In the days following your registration, you'll receive an email requesting the following information:
  • Organization where volunteer came from (please indicate Focus: HOPE)
  • Mobile Phone Number (will only be shared with the leader of the shift you select)
  • Desired date for Mandatory Virtual Training
    • Sunday, October 27th @ 8:00pm
    • Monday October 28th @ 4:00pm
    • Tuesday November 5th @ 8:00pm

Local benefitting organizations will be: Focus: HOPE, Catholic Charities, Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County, Pope Francis Center and Zaman International.
