JOIN United Way of Tarrant County for a day of service at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens for a fall garden wide planting project!
All planting materials and tools will be provided however volunteers are encouraged to:
- Wear closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing based on the weather
- Bring water, gloves, a hat, and snacks
Date: Thursday, November 14
Time: 9am to 12pm
Location: Fort Worth Botanic Gardens - 3220 Botanic Gardens Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76107)
Volunteers Needed: 10
Parking is available in the front lot in the non-reserved spaces and volunteers are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early.
On arrival, volunteers will meet at the Admissions Desk in the Garden Center where a member of staff will greet you. Volunteers will help horticulturalist, Sebastian, in various areas of the garden with a site-wide planting project.
Children 14 and older are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian.

For more than 100 years United Way of Tarrant County has worked to improve the lives of those in the communities we serve. As a nonprofit leader, we unite companies, organizations, schools, religious institutions and city/state and local governments to address the most crucial causes to build a stronger Tarrant County. We also serve as the regional grantee for Tarrant County’s Area Agency on Aging (AAA).
