Mission Statement

AHH is an equine rescue & sanctuary providing holistic healing through equine-assisted activities, therapeutic art programs, and immersion in nature. Our trauma-informed, inclusive programs cater to diverse needs, fostering mindfulness, self-expression, and personal growth.

Description

AHH is founded in 2023 and run by a group of volunteers and governed by Board of Directors who have a passion for animal welfare and a deep belief in the therapeutic benefits of interacting with horses and engaging in artistic pursuits. AHH was established as a sanctuary where rescued equines and humans could find solace, empowerment, and personal growth.
We take community health and wellness challenges to Heart. Initiatives at AHH partner with community organizations to combine evidence-based practices like educational equine programming, therapeutic artistic programming, mindfulness tailored to the specific needs of each group we serve.
