Are you a creative person who enjoys developing digital content?! Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Services is looking for a social media volunteer to help educate and engage the community about our mission; helping immigrant and refugee families find safety, peace, and fulfillment. The time commitment will average about 1-2 hours a week, and the time of day is flexible. Currently have an instagram? Check out our page @ccimmigrationrefugeeservices. Read below for details.

Qualifications

• Ability to use canva or other design software to create visually engaging posts for our instagram acccount that inform the community about our programs and iniatives.
• 18+ and have the ability to volunteer both onsite as needed and remotely.

Responsibilties

• Creating a bi-weekly post for Catholic Charities ESL Instragram feed that will be sent to the Volunteer Coordinator for review. The Volunteer Coordinator will make the final post.
• Visiting or attending program events to capture photographs as the volunteer's schedule allows.
• Interviewing employees or clients to share program stories and perspectives.

Location

This position is primarily remote with the occasional invitation to attend in-person events on-site or in the Harrisburg area as the volunteers schedule allows. Volunteers must be residents of PA to apply.
