Who We’re Looking For:

Retired or Retiring Electrical Engineers: Whether you’ve recently hung up your hard hat or are planning to, we’re looking for those with experience in the field of electrical engineering.

Passion for Teaching: You love the idea of passing on your knowledge and experience to young minds. No formal teaching experience is required--just your enthusiasm and willingness to guide the next generation.

Charismatic and Inspiring: You have the ability to engage and inspire children and young adults, encouraging them to explore careers in electrical engineering.

Local to the North Shore of Boston or Essex County: We are seeking volunteers who live in or near these areas to help us build strong community connections.

What You’ll Do:

Teach the Fundamentals: Lead small groups of children and young adults in fun and interactive lessons on electric theory.

Spark Interest in Engineering: Share your career stories, challenges, and triumphs to inspire students to consider a future in electrical engineering.

Be a Mentor: Offer guidance and support to students as they explore new concepts and consider their future paths.
