Civil Grand Jury: Service on the Civil Grand Jury is a unique privilege and responsibility. As a member of the panel, you’ll play a vital role in holding local government accountable, ensuring that public institutions operate fairly, transparently, and in the best interests of the people they serve.
The time commitment is significant, but those who serve do so with pride and with the understanding that they are helping to improve their community.

Temporary Judge Program: Under the California Rules of Court, qualified and experienced attorneys may volunteer their time to serve as part of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara's Temporary Judge Program. The Court continuously recruits volunteer attorneys to serve in this capacity for the Civil, Family, Small Claims, Traffic, and Probate divisions. Interested attorneys who have been members of the California State Bar for at least ten years are encouraged to apply online.
