IFSI-USA is in need of instructors and teacher assistants for its After-school academic program. The program is offered to mostly bilingual students, ranging from Grade 1 through Grade 8. It involves activities in Math, English, Science, and Music.

Volunteers must speak English. Speaking Haitian Creole and/or Spanish is highly desirable.

Volunteers must commit to at least 5 hours / week.

The first location is at Holy Spirit Church

We offer a large selection of programs for immigrants including advocacy, community outreach and childrens' after-school, weekend and summer academic and music programs.

Advocacy for Immigrant Rights and help in finding alternative paths to citizenship for TPS recipients.

Education and music enrichment for children in after-school, weekend and summer programs.

Community Outreach ranging from aid in getting social services to educational workshops for parent
