Position Summary:
Power Atlanta Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Volunteer Mailchimp Administrator to manage and optimize our email marketing efforts. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on effective communication with our community, volunteers, and donors. The Mailchimp Administrator will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing email campaigns, helping to increase engagement and outreach for Power Atlanta’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation, scheduling, and distribution of email campaigns through Mailchimp.
- Develop and design email templates that are visually appealing and consistent with Power Atlanta’s branding.
- Segment email lists and manage subscriber data to ensure targeted and personalized email communications.
- Analyze email campaign performance, track key metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates), and optimize future campaigns for better engagement.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to align email campaigns with organizational goals and upcoming events.
- Maintain and update email contact lists, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues with Mailchimp software and provide ongoing support for email marketing initiatives.
- Research and implement best practices for email marketing and list management.
Qualifications:
- Experience using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, including list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
- Excellent design and copywriting skills, with attention to detail and branding consistency.
- Ability to analyze and interpret email campaign data to make informed decisions.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template design is a plus.
- Familiarity with nonprofit marketing strategies is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Time Commitment:
- Minimum 5-10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
- The role is ongoing, with potential for future involvement in other marketing and communications efforts.
