Interested in becoming an ESL Tutor?
Assist individuals in the North Rosenberg community who are learning the English language. Meet on a regular basis to walk with students through studying and test taking process.
Time Commitment
Volunteer tutors are requested to commit to teaching twice per week for a minimum of one hour per class.
Our ESL program follows the academic year schedule, September through May, with breaks for holidays and in between semesters.
We believe this time commitment is necessary to foster relationships based on trust, respect, and the love of Christ, and will allow the volunteer to see the direct benefit of their role as a mentor/ tutor.
- All volunteers are required to complete a Volunteer Application
- Volunteers will go through an orientation and training prior to being released for service provided by Fort Bend Literacy Council
