The Rotary Club of Greenville has proudly upheld a tradition of over 50 years, raising funds for charities through festive family holiday events. This year, they’ve partnered with the Greenville Convention Center to create a magical Winter Wonderland. The event will feature a sprawling vendor market, roaming performers, a European Bier Garden, a North Pole children’s play area, Santa’s Workshop, an Enchanted Tea Party, the Little Miss Kringle Pageant, holiday movie nights, snowball fights, main stage entertainment, the Grand Carousel, visits with Santa, and much more!

Bringing this Winter Wonderland to life will require an "army of elves," with its success relying on dedicated volunteers. The Rotary Club of Greenville invites you to join this cheerful crew as they spread holiday magic throughout the Upstate, while raising funds for charities!

The event will take place from December 5 to 7 at the Greenville Convention Center, with volunteer support needed from December 3 to 8.

Description

The Rotary Club of Greenville was the 1st formed Rotary Club in South Carolina. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Atlanta, it was organized January 7, 1916, as Rotary Club No. 205. Greenville leads District 7750 in fundraising, both locally through its Kringle Holiday Village, and internationally through contributions to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

The club has sponsored many landmark projects in the Greenville community, including the original Textile Hall, Furman’s original gymnasium and Manly Field, Rotary Lake at Camp Greenville, a YMCA Health Center, and the Rotary Family Literacy Center.

Most other Upstate SC Rotary Clubs trace their roots back to Greenville, which directly sponsored 14 of the clubs in District 7750.
