We're looking for someone who could help us apply for grants for non-profits or raise funds to support our activities.

The funds raised will go towards:

  • Hiring a video editor to help us create more faith-based educational material for our YouTube channel
  • Marketing our spiritual discussion group at a brewery

We can provide grant proposal drafts, a list of grants we'd like to apply for and any other necessary information.

Description

Brewery Ministries creates new ways to explore the story of the Bible for those who may not feel comfortable in a typical church setting. Our organization has two "wings": local and online activities. Our local discussion group meets weekly at a brewery for friendly spiritual conversation, food and drinks. Discussions are collaborative and encourage different perspectives. Online activities include a Zoom group and an educational YouTube channel that helps people understand confusing Bible passages.

Our organization's goals are:

  • Provide discussion groups that welcome anyone from any background.
  • Create and provide educational videos and discussion materials.
  • Provide tools to help others understand the Bible including historical and cultural context that unlocks the meaning of scripture.
  • Respect healthy boundaries and give others the time and space needed to make their own decisions about what they believe.
  • Encourage the sharing of different perspectives and help heal division.
Organizational History and Achievements:
  • 501(c)(3) since 2019
  • Weekly in-person discussion group and online Zoom group
  • YouTube channel @breweryministries: 2 million+ views and 18,000 subscribers since 2023
