Web Developer/Designer & Non-Profit Website Coordinator
Reports to: Website Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Websites: Write and edit code to create user-friendly websites that meet organizational standards and user needs, ensuring functionality and design integrity.
- Collaborate on Design and Functionality: Work with UX/UI designers to implement design changes that improve user experience and engagement, adapting designs to technical constraints.
- Optimize Website Performance: Regularly review and optimize website functionality for speed and responsiveness, addressing any technical issues that arise.
- Manage Content Updates: Ensure timely updates to website content, including blog posts, event announcements, and resource materials, maintaining a fresh and relevant online presence.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-4 years in web development or design, with experience in non-profit sector projects a plus, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges in non-profit environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) to build responsive and engaging websites.
- Design Skills: Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices, with the ability to translate user needs into effective design solutions.
- Content Management Skills: Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla) and basic graphic design tools to create and manage website content effectively.
