The Global Birthday Project is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Interview Guide Developer to design and implement a standardized interview guide for our volunteer recruitment process. This role will involve creating a comprehensive set of interview questions, scoring rubrics, and training resources to support the effective recruitment of volunteers across multiple roles within the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR, recruitment, or content development and be passionate about helping build a strong, mission-driven volunteer team.

1. Interview Guide Design:

   • Create a structured interview guide with standardized questions tailored to various volunteer roles.
   • Develop a question bank that covers key areas such as experience, motivation, and alignment with the organization’s values.
   • Include behavioral and situational questions to assess core competencies.

2. Scoring Rubric Development:

   • Design clear scoring criteria and a rating system to help interviewers evaluate responses consistently.
   • Include sample responses and key points for interviewers to consider.

3. Training and Support:

   • Develop a short training manual or slideshow to instruct volunteer interviewers on using the guide.
   • Provide ongoing support and best practices for effective interviewing.

4. Collaboration and Refinement:

   • Work closely with the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator to align the guide with the organization’s needs.
   • Implement changes based on feedback from the recruitment team and volunteer interviewers.

5. Continuous Improvement:

   • Set up a feedback loop for ongoing improvements to the guide.
   • Regularly update the guide to reflect new roles and organizational changes.
