Recruiting Organization: Literacy For Life SLO
Non profit 'Literacy for Life' is looking for volunteer tutors in Paso Robles.
- Help learners, 16 and older, improve their English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Volunteer 1-3 hour a week
- A second language is not required. Tutoring is conducted in English.
- A teaching background is not necessary. We provide free tutor training, textbooks and ongoing support
- Tutors work one-on-one with learners to set up and meet their individual literacy goals
Our next tutor training session is on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 3-6pm at Canyon Creek, 400 Oak Hill Rd, Paso Robles. This session is designed for new volunteers eager to help adults learning English as a second language. Gain the skills and resources needed to make a meaningful impact in your community.
