Description
Achieve Pinal Experience Corps (APEC) an affiliate of AARP Foundation is an intergenerational, evidence-based literacy program designed to help students become proficient readers by the end of third grade. Using Reading A-Z level books our trained volunteers work one on one with students on building fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills two days a week for the entire school year. The Achieve Pinal Experience Corps reading program partners with elementary schools throughout Pinal County.
