SAMO Fund, in partnership with Tiny Porch Concerts holds an annual concert, one of our most important fundraisers of the year. At Peter Strauss Ranch in Agoura hills, CA, the intimate venue allows a very special night for all in attendance. Along with the concert we offer food and drink for sale and hold a silent auction.
SAMO Fund is looking for volunteers to assist with set up and clean up. Set up time is TBD, but will be discussed to volunteers. During the beginning of the concert, we will need help with check in/ ensuring all guests are safe. Once most guests are seated volunteers will (most likely) be able to enjoy the concert. At the end of the concert, volunteers help clean up chairs/tables/booths. Volunteers will receive a food and drink ticket and once the event is officially closed, access to leftovers as a thank you for your assistance.

Mission Statement
The Santa Monica Mountains Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that funds habitat restoration, hiking trail improvement, educational programs, and wildlife conservation in the Santa Monica Mountains - our Nation's largest urban national park, located in the greater Los Angeles area of Southern California. We hold many different fundraisers and events throughout the year, ranging from planting in the nursery to charity concerts!
Description
Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) is an environmental nonprofit, established in 1988 to support education and the protection of resources in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. SAMO Fund was formed by concerned citizens to represent the interests of the public in the development of parklands and recreation opportunities within the mountains. We work to protect and encourage appreciation and understanding of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area by supporting National Park Service (NPS) efforts in education, science, research, facility restoration, citizen engagement, environmental stewardship and philanthropy. SAMO Fund is the official non-profit supporting the National Park Service. We work closely with NPS management to allocate funds, resources and our own staff time to support scientific research, trails and ecological maintenance, restoration projects and education for any ages from elementary to adult programs.
