Description
Since 2016, Uncommon Threads has been supporting and empowering low-income women in our community in a variety of ways. We measure our success by the number of women whose lives we've had the opportunity to impact in a meaningful way. Clients are referred into Uncommon Threads through local social services agencies and do not have to be working to access services. Many of our clients are domestic violence survivors, cancer patients, disabled and female veterans. We offer a variety of services and programs to help women look and feel their best. By combining clothing and styling services with positive empowerment skill-building, we help women improve their outer appearance and shift inner self-talk. Because when a woman views herself as strong and capable, she can move forward and make positive life changes for herself and those around her.
