Mission Statement
Through a wide range of programming we engage artists and the community to ensure longevity of the arts.
Description
OTE Arts has been operating for more than 5 years as a social enterprise before pursuing non-profit status.
We work with a large network of local artists, facilitating exhibitions, teaching and learning opportunities and connecting our community with grant funding, sponsors and donors.
We’ve just launched our new OTE Artist in Residence program and hope to not only continue but expand on the program, eventually partnering with a sister city in order to allow more Columbus artists valuable residency opportunities.
To date in 2024 we’ve facilitated over 20 solo exhibitions and over 10k in art sales. Additionally, we’ve compensated over 25 artists directly for their work. As we grow we continue to establish ourselves as an important stepping stone for experimentation and for both established and emerging artists to add valuable solo exhibition opportunities to their resumes.
