Are you passionate about creating a more just and equitable community? Join us as we support Cindy Lerner for Miami-Dade County Commission, District 7. Cindy, a lifelong Miami-Dade resident, has dedicated her career to serving her community. As a former Mayor of Pinecrest and a state legislator, she has championed children's rights and fought against corporate environmental harm. Now, Cindy is running for County Commission to ensure honest, ethical leadership, address the urgent threat of sea-level rise, and advocate for the needs of all residents. On this Day of Action, we'll be knocking on doors to spread the word about Cindy's campaign and encourage voters to make a plan to cast their ballots. Your participation will make a real difference in shaping the future of our community. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. A short training session will be conducted before launching the door-to-door canvass, covering talking points. The actual canvassing time is about 2 hours.

SAVE is recognized as South Florida’s longest serving organization dedicated to protecting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) against discrimination.
Since 1993, SAVE has advocated for equal rights for persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We accomplish this through grassroots action focused on:
- Political Advocacy - Working to promote local, state, and federal policy change by building community consensus.
- Community Outreach - Changing hearts and minds by educating the people of South Florida about LGBTQ issues.
- Candidate Endorsements - Supporting political leaders committed to ending LGBTQ discrimination.
