Join P.O.W.E.R.'s Youth Tutoring Program as a volunteer tutor! You can help students in grades 1-8 succeed in STEM subjects while earning community services hours for graduation.No prior to make a difference!
Tutoring Schedule:
Monday: In-person at Skyway Library 4:30 pm -6:30 pm
Tuesday:In-person at Skyway Library 4:30 pm-6:30 pm -Online 4:30pm-7:30pm
Wednesday:In-person with P.O.W.E.R at Skyway Library 5:00 pm-7:00 pm
Thursday: Online 4:30 pm-7:30 pm

Our Mission and Vision Our goal is to help individuals and families thrive by providing stability, resources, and support to prevent homelessness and ensure access to affordable housing. We empower those in need through various services and programs to promote independence and long-term stability. Our mission is to offer assistance in housing, support youth, engage with the community, and foster self-sufficiency.
Description
P.O.W.E.R. (Providing Others With Every Resource) is committed to providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals and families facing housing instability and homelessness. Our mission is to:
Prevent Homelessness: Offer rental assistance and foreclosure prevention to keep families in their homes.
Provide Stable Housing: Help individuals and families find and maintain safe, affordable housing.
Support Youth and Young Adults: Focus on aiding homeless youth and individuals aged 18-24 with the resources they need to build a stable future.
Engage the Community: Conduct outreach events and programs to directly support and engage with those in need.
Foster Independence: Equip those we serve with the knowledge and tools necessary to achieve self-sufficiency and long-term stability.
Through these efforts, P.O.W.E.R. aims to create lasting, positive change in our community, empowering individuals to overcome their circumstances and build better futures for themselves and their families.
