Hillside Covenant Church
Ministry Role Description: High School/Middle School Leader
The Heart of the Role: Develop a warm, caring mentoring-friendship with Hillside’s high school girls so that they can connect in the ministry, be immersed in God’s Word, and grow in Christlikeness.
Ministry Department: Students
Specific Responsibilities:
● Be present for Thursday Night youth group.
● Attend the three Leader meetings throughout the year.
● Communicate love and welcome to high school girls when they arrive in the Student Center
● Work to facilitate friendship among the high school girls and other high school students more
broadly.
● Lead small group experience of Bible exploration, prayer, and consideration of the Spirit’s
leading at youth group.
● Make one brief non-Thursday gathering encouragement contact each week (e.g., text, phone
call, DM, etc.).
● Model a lifestyle with Jesus Christ.
Team Meetings Day/Time:
● Every Thursday Night before Youth Group from 6:45-7:00 PM
