Are you passionate about crafting and making a difference in the lives of others? Join our team to create engaging & colorful Bright Moments posters for patients with dementia.

  • Design and create posters using various craft items we supply (paper, markers, stickers, etc.)
  • Incorporate themes and visuals that are soothing and stimulating for dementia patients
  • Collaborate with our care team to ensure the posters meet the needs of our patients

The Bright Moments program at Bristol Hospice is designed to provide specialized care for patients with end-stage dementia, focusing on creative interventions to enhance their quality of life. This approach includes personalized music therapy, weighted blankets and memory-enhancing activities to offer comfort to both patients and their families.

This project can be done from your home, and would likely take 2-4 hours per month.

Description

Bristol Hospice provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life in Snohomish County, Washington. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to the terminal illness.
