ORGANIZATION: Blum Organization

Are you passionate about supporting women through the challenges of postpartum depression? Do you want to make a meaningful impact in your community by lending your expertise and leadership skills? Blum Organization, is a 501(c)(3) newly formed nonprofit. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support for mothers experiencing postpartum depression. We are seeking dynamic and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors.

As a board member, you will have the opportunity to guide the strategic direction of the organization, support its mission, and ensure its sustainability. We are looking for leaders who can offer their experience, vision, and passion to help Blum Organization grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance to ensure the organization fulfills its mission.
  • Attend monthly board meetings (in person or via Zoom).
  • Serve on at least one committee and participate in committee meetings.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts and help cultivate relationships with donors and community stakeholders.
  • Review and approve annual budgets, financial reports, and key policies.
  • Advocate for the organization and its mission in the community.

Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to the mission of Blum Organization.
  • Expertise in finance, marketing, fundraising, nonprofit governance, legal, health & medical, or other skills relevant to the organization’s needs.
  • Willingness to dedicate time and effort to board activities and meetings.
  • Prior nonprofit or board experience is a plus, but not required.

Term of Service:
Board members serve a renewable term of three years. Meetings are held monthly, and board members are expected to actively participate in committees and fundraising efforts.
