Are you interested in science and volunteering with children in need? If so, you are perfect for us! Magic of Science is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that strives to enchant children of many in-need backgrounds to develop a strong interest in science through fun and educational science experiments. By showcasing the wonders of scientific phenomena to children in need, we believe that every child can become the world’s next greatest scientist. We are constantly looking for volunteers that are willing to take the initiative and help us further our mission!

If you are a student, we will approve service hours for your involvement!

Potential volunteer's responsibilities:

• Engage in super duper fun science activities with children in need
• Work with in-need children of various backgrounds including children with illnesses, children living in homeless shelters, children living in low-income areas, children of refuge, and many more!
• Host fundraisers to donate science toys and equipment to local organizations that support children in need
• Ensure safety precautions are followed during activities
• Maintain good relationships with partner organizations

Qualifications:

• Genuinely interested in helping children in need
• Enjoy science! (if you don't like chemistry, that's okay...we get it)
• Possess emotional maturity and leadership skills
• Have strong organization and communication skills
• Love working with children
