Janet Thomas is the CEO of the Bible Stories Theatre, and she is organizing a musical stage play entitled Neefertiti 18th Dynasty. She needs a graphic designer to help her bring the production to stage. She is seeking help from several volunteer agencies where he/she will be required to submit a resume with a job description for the volunteer position of graphic designer. We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.

The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.

Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and reports.

Your graphic should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong abiity to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projecets and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based o requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts ar visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements and skills

• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design softeare and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrtor, Dreamwear, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
