ORGANIZATION: Animal Rescue of the Rockies

Support Vet Coordinator ~ Time Commitment 5-10 hours per week

This person will serve as support to our current vetting team based on the needs of the team. This role requires a detail-oriented person to be available throughout each day (and sometimes in the evenings and weekends for emergencies) to coordinate vet appointments with our fosters and our vet clinics. In addition to scheduling vet appointments for our foster dogs, this role includes following up with records and reviewing them for accuracy, uploading them to the dog’s file, and reviewing invoices for accuracy. Both phone and internet access are needed. This role can be very time sensitive - especially when dogs are in need of urgent vet care. Someone who can check email, calls, and/or text messages multiple times per day is required. Understanding of Google Drive is very helpful as well.
