Tar Wars is the most enduring program of the Georgia Healthy Family Alliance. Created in 1988, Tar Wars is a tobacco and vaping prevention program designed to help students make healthy choices. Tar Wars is presented across the state of Georgia in 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Tar Wars takes about an hour to present and includes several interactive elements for students. This training will prepare you to enter classrooms in your community to present Tar Wars.
