The Palmetto Optimist Crochet Night for Childhood Cancer takes place on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sumter, SC. Yarn is provided, and participants create blankets that are donated to Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas to support children battling cancer. Knitters and crocheters of all experience levels are welcome, making it a community event where creativity meets compassion for a meaningful cause.

The Palmetto Optimist Club of Sumter, SC, is a community-focused organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of local youth and the community through service projects and fundraising efforts.
