Women's Voice is seeking a Treasurer to provide guidance to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in ensuring sound fiscal planning, decision-making, and oversight at a governance level. The Treasurer will be responsible for administering the annual budget to ensure the efficient operation of the organization and must work closely with CFO and Board of Directors. key responsibilities : - Oversee the development of high-level financial policies and lead the review by the board. - Assist in the preparation of the annual budget as well as regular monitoring and comparing the actual revenues and expenses incurred against such budget. - Ensure that the appropriate monthly or quarterly financial statements are reviewed by the board. - Recommend and approve internal control systems for ensuring the organization’s ongoing solvency and oversee the development of the organization’s financial policies. - Responsible for fundraising and operating funds consistent with applicable laws.
