Work alongside Million Little Facilitators to bring art-based, trauma-informed social emotional learning to youth! Program runs January-early June 2025 and requires a commitment of 2 days per week during that time (Full day on Thursdays; half day one other day per week).
Overview: Interns will deliver art-based social emotional learning for our early childhood offering, Creativity in the Classroom & Beyond. This beloved program invites elementary students (UPK-3) to play and work together through literacy and art and promotes equitable access to creative exploration. Interns will support ML Facilitators in the cleaning, preparation, and transportation of materials, co-facilitation of content at school and community sites, and logging of field notes for this highly engaging, strengths-based program.
- Thoughtful engagement in ML’s Intern training
- A passing Live Scan background check
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
- Commitment to in-person internship through May 30
- Ability to comfortably lift 30-40 pounds
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to drive to program sites in Santa Clarita
- Ability to be flexible and creative under unexpected circumstances.
- Passion for working with children and families - Spanish and English fluency is a huge plus!
