Mission Statement
NYACE contributes to the diversity of NYC's vibrant cultural life and employs the arts as a tool to create a bridge of understanding between people of diverse cultures. Much more than a singing group, we provide easy access to the learning, performance, and viewing of African traditional, popular, and art music. . NYACE serves the low income population by creating programs that provide easy access to the participation in and viewing of highly artistic performances. In addition, the organization provides opportunities for relatively unknown performing groups to take part in our programs and, thus, widen their audience base.
