ICA Miami is hosting their annual "Family Fest" 2024. Join us for this wonderful opportunity to earn community service hours and engage with your neighborhood. NOTE: This opportunity is for HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY Our Family Fest event will be taking place Sunday, October 6th, 2024.The theme is "Me, you, and the Ocean Blue". The event will be open to the public between 12 - 4 pm, however, volunteers are expected to arrive between 8 and 9 AM for set up. Lunch will be served from 11 am - 12 pm before doors open. There will be approximately one hour of breakdown time so volunteers can expect to wrap at 5 pm. Volunteers will assist in set up, break down, project making, and guiding families throughout the various event spaces. 10+ community service hours will be provided along with a t-shirt, water, snacks, and lunch (as previously mentioned.) We will also be awarding additional hours for students who recruit a friend. There will be a MANDATORY prep day the week prior. We will briefly assign the volunteer roles and then you will be free to go. The date for this is TBD. Thank you in advance for your interest!

Description
The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami runs several programs dedicated to local youth arts education. We partner with schools for field trips, on site work shops, and more. The museum also provides several application programs to help students develop their portfolios and understanding of contemporary art. We encourage our students to get involved and support those seeking higher education in the arts.
