NAMI Wake County is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. We are expanding our board of directors and hope to identify candidates with experience in finance, legal/HR, governance, strategy, marketing, fundraising, or strong community connections. We are at a unique juncture where the leadership, expertise, and passion of our board members will be crucial in shaping the future of our organization. The experience and insights of board members will help us navigate the challenges inherent with organizational growth while driving impactful change that will benefit our community for years to come. Whether it’s through financial stewardship, strategic planning, community outreach, or functional expertise, board members have the potential to make a significant difference.
